The Aurora-Ala Foundation brings together scholars and researchers from the European University at St. Petersburg (EUSP), upholding the traditions of a research university and training a new generation of experts to address complex social processes and global challenges.

Established to ensure the sustainable development of the Foundation's initiatives, the Aurora-Ala endowment underscores the long-term commitment of the European University at St. Petersburg (EUSP) community to Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
The Foundation expands its endowment through philanthropic gifts from domestic and international donors, adhering strictly to all statutory requirements.
A Kazakh investment company manages the endowment’s assets under an investment portfolio management agreement.

She has worked in leadership positions in a number of analytical centers (Center for Strategic Research, Center for Training Leaders of Digital Transformation, Center for Advanced Management Solutions) and has extensive experience in creating and developing applied research and educational programs. Academic career is connected with empirical research in law at the European University in St. Petersburg.
- Since 2012 – research fellow at the Institute of Law Enforcement Problems at the European University in St. Petersburg.
- From 2018 to 2023 – General Director of the Center for Advanced Management Solutions. The center conducted research on public administration issues, advised organizations on development strategy, and assessing digital maturity.
- From 2019 to 2022 - Academic Director of the Center for Training Leaders of Digital Transformation at the Higher School of State University of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. More than 50,000 government employees have been trained in unique digital transformation programs, and more than 500 thousand students have attended the Center’s open programs.

Biography:
She has unique experience in the field of management in universities and the non-profit sector for more than 20 years.
In May 2007, it registered the first endowment fund in St. Petersburg and the second in Russia (EUSP Fund). She is the executive director of the Foundation, providing strategic and day-to-day management of its activities.
In the position of Advisor to the Rector of EUSP, she is responsible for strategic and special projects. Actively involved in various aspects of the development and life of the university.
One of the country's well-known specialists and experts in the field of management of the non-profit sector. She has an impressive wealth of connections and working contacts with university management specialists around the world and in Russia. Provides consultations and training to administrative staff of universities and NGOs, and has a number of publications on the topic.
In 2019, she created a unique further education program “University Management” for existing university managers.
She is an active participant and, often, coordinator of various initiatives and working groups to improve the practice of legislation in the field of NGOs, endowment capital in the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, under the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and others. In 2022, he acts as coordinator of the interdepartmental working group on the development of endowment funds in educational institutions of higher education under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
In 2019, she co-founded the National Endowment Association (NAE), designed to give new impetus to the development of the endowment industry in the Russian Federation. She is the Chairman of the Board of the NAE.
In 2022, she initiated the creation of the Aurora-Ala Foundation, an endowment fund to support the development of science and education, including in Kazakhstan.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The University was one of the first in Russia to launch the educational program “University Management” for managers from universities and social sector organizations, including schools, museums, charitable foundations, hospitals, theaters, and archives. The program examines and develops institutional strategies and, in particular, the tactics for implementing them. The program aims to strengthen managers’ management competencies and help them carry out strategic tasks in their day-to-day work. It is taught by management experts from Russia and several Western countries. They bring extensive professional experience and a strategic understanding of the development of higher education and the social sector.
